Margen Sur is located in the town of Ingeniero Luis A. Huergo, 14km from the city of Villa Regina, in the Alto Valle of Río Negro, in Patagonia Argentina. It has a completely particular climate, with a huge temperature range – from 83°F to 42°F – that helps the vine growing and renders the wines with brilliant and intense colors.

Wines from the Alto Valle of Río Negro are those typical of cold weather areas, with characteristic well defined bouquet.

Our company´s success can be attributed to our philosophy, which is to combine the greater number of modern techniques with the most valuable part of the traditional ones. This has guaranteed the permanent high quality of the wines, and helped Margen Sur to be well known around the world.

In the wine cellars and during lab work, in order to control the various data, there is equipment such as different –size stainless steel tanks, hydraulic presses and refrigerated containers.

Soil semi-arid, muddy-clay, of poor organic material and low fertility.
